Can a Rife Machine Help with Lyme Disease?

What is a Rife Machine?

A Rife machine is an experimental electrotherapy device that uses low-energy electromagnetic waves to deliver specific frequencies associated with bacteria, viruses, and other microbes. The main idea behind the Rife machine is that every microorganism has its own unique frequency, and when exposed to that frequency, the organism can be destroyed without harming the body’s healthy cells.

A common metaphor used to explain how Rife machines work is the opera singer who shatters a glass by singing a particular note. The glass is destroyed by a specific low-energy wave (a sound wave). The same principle is thought to apply to microbes exposed to electromagnetic frequencies. While there is no modern research or scientific evidence to support Rife’s claims, the device is nevertheless utilized, particularly for chronic Lyme disease, as many patients report that it improves their symptoms.

The machine is named after Royal Raymond Rife, an American scientist who not only invented the Rife machine but also developed a groundbreaking “universal microscope,” which enabled the scientific community, for the first time, to see microbes such as pneumonia bacteria. This was previously thought to be impossible, so Rife was celebrated as a brilliant inventor. His observations of microbes under the microscope led him to discover that they were susceptible to specific electromagnetic frequencies, sparking the idea for his Rife machine, which he later used to reportedly put a group of terminally ill cancer patients into remission.

What is the Main Problem in Lyme Disease?

If you’re living with chronic Lyme disease, you likely know that your immune system is struggling to keep the Borrelia bacteria at bay. You may also be aware that ticks can carry other problematic microbes like Bartonella, Ehrlichia, Anaplasma, and Babesia. In other words, it’s not just Borrelia causing your symptoms, but a host of other microbes. Additionally, these microbes can impact the viral and yeast populations in your body, leading to a condition known as “dysbiosis,” where your microbial populations are out of balance.

Another issue in Lyme disease is the accumulation of toxins in your body, often exacerbated by poor diet, drug use, inactivity, and exposure to environmental toxins. Combined with dysbiosis, this creates a perfect storm for chronic illness.

Until recently, chronic Lyme disease wasn’t widely recognized as a legitimate diagnosis, so many patients were, and still are, dismissed or referred to multiple specialists who offer little help. The standard treatment for Lyme disease is antibiotics, sometimes combined with antiparasitic or antimalarial drugs. While these medications can help control severe symptoms, they often increase toxicity and damage healthy cells due to their side effects. Some patients are prescribed antibiotics for years, which is not a sustainable practice. Anyone who has taken antibiotics for that long can attest to the havoc it can wreak on the body

Why is the Rife Machine Used for Lyme Disease?

The Rife machine is used in Lyme disease treatment for several reasons. First, many patients report feeling better after using it, experiencing improvements in energy, gastrointestinal function, pain, and mood, which encourages them to continue its use.

Second, the Rife machine is believed to target and kill problematic microbes without harming healthy cells. The Rife machine is designed to emit electromagnetic waves programmed by the practitioner to these exact frequencies. Working with a knowledgeable Rife practitioner is advised in the initial stages of treatment to help you navigate and understand the potential effects.

While using the Rife machine, it’s possible that your toxicity levels may still increase if microbes are killed, which could lead to a Herxheimer reaction. However, the Rife machine is also thought to facilitate detoxification by using different frequencies that may support the function of your lymphatic system. This is the third reason why the Rife machine is used in Lyme disease treatment.

If you’re curious about whether the Rife machine can help you, I encourage you to give it a try.
